Joey Izzo offers instruction on piano and guitar. He is a recent graduate of the Berklee College of Music in Boston. According to its Web site, Berklee is “the largest independent college of contemporary music in the world. Known primarily as the world’s foremost institute for the study of jazz and modern American music, it also offers college-level courses in a wide range of contemporary and historic styles, including rock, flamenco, hip hop, reggae, salsa, and bluegrass. As of 2016, Berklee alumni have been awarded a total of 266 Grammy Awards.”
Gene Baker teaches piano, electronic music, brass, woodwind, percussion and strings. He holds a B.A. in music composition with emphasis on trumpet from the University of Hartford, Conn.; a master of fine arts degree in electronic music and recording media from Mills College in Oakland, Cal.; a Level 1 Kodaly certification training from Holy Names University; and he is completing a masters degree in music education from Hunter College in New York. He has an extensive resume and has performed internationally with a large number of ensembles to include the BBC Symphony Orchestra, the L.A. Philharmonic and the popular all original 17-piece group The R&B Free-Jazz Gospel Supreme 80.

Steve Lester offers instruction in guitar and bass guitar. He holds a B.A. in music performance (classical guitar) from Salisbury University in Maryland, attended two master classes with renowned guitar virtuoso Christopher Parkening, holds a New York State certification in music education, and served as a guitarist in the U.S. Army bands for 22 years, serving in Afghanistan, Germany, Korea, Fort Lee, Va., Fort Hamilton, N.Y., and Fort Drum, N.Y. He has professional experience playing in the styles of bluegrass, jazz, rock, C&W, folk and classical.
